It is truly a gem found and I am so happy that I have saved $600-1600 from an old Martin or Guild that would have been in worse shape than this one. So, now I have this wonder playing, sounding, and feeling guitar. Contacted the seller and he agreed to meet me at 11pm last night!! I have never heard of the brand, but it looked exactly like what I have been after. I checked Craigslist one last time before getting ready for bed and a listing for your guitar came up. After driving 50 minutes one way, I found that it desperately needed a neck reset and needed many other repairs on top of what was already done to it. Last night, I went to go see a 1943 Martin 00-17 from a local seller. Every time I think I could win an auction the price skyrockets and becomes out of my range. I have been shopping for a 0, 00 Martin 17 or 20, 30 Guild M. Favilla himself, but haven't heard back yet - it's only been a week But if anyone here knows some answers, I will take them early! Enjoy the pics! Oh and I acquired this on 12/30/13 so hopefully this still is considered NGD. Basically an excerpt from an email that I sent to Mr. Totally friggin cool guitar.Īnyway want to share a story on this beauty. This guitar is full of Flava and it's not vanilla at all! Ok bad joke.Īll solid woods, all hog, maybe some BRZ.
